Allie serves as the CEO of Village Capital. Village Capital is a venture capital firm that finds, trains, and invests in early-stage ventures solving major global problems in agriculture, education, energy, financial inclusion, and health. She previously served as a senior executive at Revolution and the Case Foundation,the venture capital firm and private family foundation created by former AOL executives Jean and Steve Case, where she led the organizations' communications and marketing teams. She also held positions at Discovery, AOL and Atlas Venture among others. Allie bringing more than 16 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and innovators at the intersection of tech and social change

  • Ideas to Doors – A New Venture Lab:  Presented by the Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing at the University of Arizona. An interactive experience for aspiring and current entrepreneurs and small business owners.  Through founder stories, expert presentations and one-on-one consultative interactions, you can discover and enhance the customer-facing opportunities and potential for your venture. 

  • Bridge Builders UnConference, Creating Pathways for Tucson Startups. Tech Launch Arizona presents an unconference-style discussion for those interested in Southern Arizona’s startup ecosystem to share insights, explore challenges, and identify new opportunities for regional collaboration and meaningful impact. The discussion keynote presenter and facilitator is Marc Sedam, Associate Vice Provost for Innovation and New Ventures and Managing Director, University of New Hampshire UNH Innovation. Marc also serves as the incoming Chair for AUTM.

Come watch new companies battle it out in the Vertical Pitch Rooms. Teams will be doing rapid pitches in areas such as include SaaS, Biotech, Consumer Products, Retail/Fashion, and Food.  If you are interested in competing, apply here
