Startup Fundamentals is a five part series (plus a bonus “Demo Day”) that focuses on the core skills and strategies for a strong business.
Each class provides you with supplemental homework, reading, and exercises to do between classes for further your growth. You can also book time for one-on-one support throughout the process through Connection Services and Action Advisor sessions.
By the end of the series you will have a strong business plan, pitch deck, customer and market research completed, and a complete marketing/launch plan. Finally, you will have the opportunity to share your business with a panel of experts and mentors for feedback during our celebratory demo day/graduation.
After the series you are eligible to enter our Momentum Mentor Sprint, a two month one-to-one structured mentoring program.
This series would typically cost about $11,000 per company, but because of the generous sponsorship and grants from the City of Tucson and the Thomas R Brown Foundation, we are able to offer the whole series for a bundled price of $45.00.

If you are very family with the lean canvas business model and customer-centric tools to business development, this might not be a perfect fit for you. In that case, you might want to check out our Advanced and Technical Course selection.
Each class in this series is two hours. Due to COVID-19 these courses are currently offered online from 3:00 - 5:00pm
Why is this program called a “pre-accelerator”?
We have designed the program to help prepare companies that plan on applying to incubators or accelerators to have a successful application. The course series will also help you prepare for fundraising and pitch competitions if those are the next steps for your business journey.
