Discover Startup Fundamentals

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

Are you overwhelmed with starting a business? Did you accidentally start a business and now its outpacing you? Startup Fundamentals, a six part series (including a bonus “Demo Day”), equips you with core skills and strategies for a solid business foundation.

With a strong business plan, you can map out the trajectory of your business in smaller, more calculated steps. Each class provides you with supplemental homework, reading, and exercises to do between classes for further your growth. During the series, you can also book time for one-on-one support through Connection Services and Action Advisor sessions.

By the end of the series you will have a sure idea of how you will launch or grow your company next. The series rounds out with the following assets you create and develop: pitch deck, customer and market research completed, and a complete marketing/launch plan. Finally, you will have the opportunity to share your business with a panel of experts and mentors for feedback during our celebratory demo day/graduation.

Fundamentals at a glance:

  • Startup Lab 101: Overview of lean, solid business foundations

  • Fundamentals 102: Discover Your Competition and Develop Your Special Sauce (UVP)

  • Fundamentals 103: Discover Your Customer

  • Fundamentals 104: Test + Validate Your Business

  • Fundamentals 105: Business and Financial Basics

  • Pitch Graduation Demo Day

After the series you are eligible to enter our Momentum Mentor Sprint, an 8-week, one-to-one structured mentoring program.

On its own, this series would cost about $500 per company, but because of the generous sponsorship and grants from the City of Tucson and the Thomas R Brown Foundation, we are able to offer a subsidized price for the whole series at $100.

For a limited time only, sign up for the early bird discount on the Startup Fundamentals and receive half off of our bundled price. Sign up now.
