It's been a year of achievements! As we tally up the numbers, the impact we've made together in Southern Arizona is both inspiring and motivating.
Here's What We've Achieved Together This Year
$36 Million in Revenue: Our entrepreneurs have been busy! This year, they've generated an astounding $36 million in revenue, showcasing the robust economic activity spurred by our community.
172 New Jobs Created: Thanks to the innovative ventures of our members, we've seen 172 new jobs created, adding to the economic stability and vitality of our region.
$9.8 Million Secured in Funding: Our startups have not only been creative but also successful in securing necessary funding, with a total of $9.8 million raised to fuel their growth and expansion.
Promoting Diversity: We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive environment. This year, 59% of our businesses were women-owned, 37% were owned by people of color, and 13% by LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.
The support and resources we provide, such as networking events, mentorship sessions, and business workshops, have reached over 1,600 attendees, helping to sculpt the business landscape of Southern Arizona.
We've also facilitated the creation of 201 business plans, directly impacting the success trajectories of emerging entrepreneurs.
Reflecting on the year, we are particularly proud of the diversity and resilience shown by our community. The entrepreneurial spirit in Southern Arizona is alive and well, and the numbers we've reported this year are a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
Looking at the big picture, since our inception, we've helped secure over $283 million in funding and have been a part of creating nearly 1,000 jobs. These aren't just numbers—they're lives changed, families supported, and goals accomplished.
